Sunny construction time

The sun has finally blessed us with its presence and warmth after a week of crazy rain - and so many things have happened! The basic structures are now almost finished and we can already start enjoying the luxurious conditions we have created. It is such a wonderful feeling to have a colder kitchen inside the ruin, where the roof has finally been rebuild properly now. This means, we have a cold space to cook our lovely food and enjoy a pause from the sun. The toilet structures are also done and we only need to place the lovable loos. This will be another comfortable, shady place! Shelters for showering are under construction by full female power - and will probably be finished by the end of the day. Every day things are developing and growing, and it is so satisfying to feel this accomplishment together as a group. More and more people are still arriving and joining all of us and we are so grateful for all this help being send to us! The next weeks will probably be very hectic, so most likely we won’t be updating you much. So if you don’t hear more from us, then expect the best! We can’t wait to welcome you all to be a part of the first És Amor Gathering at Dreamfield EVER!

It's growing

The rain is falling down in the land of Dreamfield these days, as the group is growing bigger and bigger. We are now a group of 9 people living and working together on the field! It is so beautiful to see how quickly things grow, when you are working together in a big, enthusiastic group. We started working on the barn area - which will be the kitchen area - clearing, cutting grass, re-building walls, building stoves and much more. Today these interesting onions appeared from the soil, that has been covered with rumbles and big rocks the last many, many years. Nature never fails to impress! We send you much love and sun dance moves from the rainy field. <3

One month to go

 

It has been a beautiful, sunny week in Dreamfield, where we have received the blessing of a full truck loaded with amazing building materials ready to use in creative ways. João and Amalie has now arrived at the field, which means that the És Amor team is almost completely gathered now. The Dreamfield family is growing! This very day we can celebrate that És Amor is less than a month away! It seems crazy and so exciting in the same time! Tomorrow, we will be at the market in Parque Verde in Coimbra and we hope to see some of you lovely people there!

Project oven begins!

A magical clay oven started blooming in the midst of all the wild flowers of Dreamfield. We just watered it, so who knows, how big this blooming oven will look, the next time we will update you!

Rui and Juan are helping each other taking the first steps of laying the fundament of the oven. Such an exciting proces that has begun!

Natural shade spaces have started to flourish from the wilderness of Dreamfield. The last days Elena has been dedicated to clearing and creating beautiful spaces, that we cannot wait to share with you on És Amor!

The orange hours of the Dreamfield has been absolutely mesmerizing these last days. 

Yesterday we spent a beautiful day in Castelo de Vide at the Sabado Vivo market and next saturday we will be in the market in Parque Verde in Coimbra! We hope to see you there <3

Sun sun sun, here we come

Can you believe it? The heavy April rain finally vanished and the beautiful sun has finally made its way home - to Dreamfield! As the sun is finding rightful home, so are we. Dreamfield has during the last week become a real home for us with all the comforts one could ask for. The kitchen space in the tent has become so cozy: now we can sit on our little homemade sofa and eat our delicious lunches cooked on the fire or on the stove (wow, the luxury of possibilities) at our little homemade table. Outside, we have made a lovely fire place and nice little rocket stoves, where we can cook - and warm ourselves around - under the incredible night sky. It has been unbelievably magical sitting here the last days seeing the big, orange full moon rising slowly in the horizon! I n c r e d i b l e. 

Today we have cleaned the bamboo canes we have been collecting, digging foundations for the compost loos and removed all the wooden beams of the barn roof. So now the barn is completely roof less and ready for a new, beautiful green roof! We finished our day of working with an amazing yoga session in the wild flowers as the sun was setting. This will be happening weekly on Dreamfield and we cannot wait for you guys to join us in this beauty!

Mission roof

There is nothing better than the feeling of progress! Today we reached our crowdfunding goal! We cannot believe how blessed we have been with all this incredible help from you wonderful beings out there. We thank you with all of our hearts and can't wait to show you the results that will develop from this amazing gift of help you have given us! To celebrate these wonderful news, we spent the day removing all the tiles from the roof of the old barn and clearing the big brumble bushes covering the walls. What great feeling entering a great working flow together and feeling the energy growing! We are going to replace the roof of the old barn with a lovely green roof and make this a wonderful space dedicated to cooking at the festival. Outside the barn, we will make a community area, where people can eat and connect together. It all feels very exciting! Today has been such a beautiful day and the wild flowers are exploding like fireworks across the land - it is a magical feeling being in such fairytale-like surroundings! We can't wait for you guys to join us here.
